Guinever Smith - Artist's Works
Guinever Smith holds an M.F.A. in Painting from University of Cincinnati, and a B.A. in Painting from the University of Louisville. Smith is currently teaching Drawing and Design at Spalding University and Figure Drawing at Bellarmine University. Smith is a Kentucky Arts Council Al Smith Visual Arts Fellowship recipient (1992, and 2000) and she is one of thirteen chosen artists to participate in the KET Looking at Painting television series (2001). She is currently represented by Heike Pickett Gallery in Versailles, Kentucky and Pyro Gallery in Louisville, Kentucky. Recent exhibitions include :Spring Invitational Exhibit, Heike Pickett Gallery, Pyro Showcase, group exhibit at Pyro Gallery in Louisville, Ky, Movement & Context, three person exhibit, Pyro Gallery, Kentucky Visions at the Captitol 2016, Frankfort, Kentucky, and The National Small Oil Painting Exhibition at Wichita Center for the Art in Wichita, Kansas (2014). Smith’s paintings are in many public and private collections including; Churchill Downs, Kentucky Center for the Arts, Brown-Forman Corporation, Bellarmine University, University of Louisville, and the University of Kentucky Art Museum. Smith resides in Clifton in Louisville with her husband, David Mosley, daughter, Isabel Mosley, dog , Darcy, cat, Mittens and kitten, Fiona!
