PYRO Gallery Presents: Inside the Experience of Addiction

Inside The Experience of Addiction
Photo Stories On Using, Abusing, and Recovery
Photographic Work by
Keith Auerbach

This exhibition takes an empathic look at the nature of addiction - how addicts think, feel and act.

The images and words are derived from an amalgam of my clinical and artistic practices.Their juxtapositions are meant to engage and challenge the viewer to discover new connections and insights. My overall goal is to provoke questions, curiosity and discussion.

Thank you to my friends, the professionals and the recovering community, who continue to help me understand addiction and to evolve this art form.
