    PYRO Mentorship Program

Individuals who have applied for membership, but who do not meet the standards set by gallery members may be eligible for the mentorship program. Such individuals (mentees) will pay monthly dues of $60, sit two shifts a month, attend monthly meetings, and participate on committees.  Mentees will be individually mentored by one or more current full members with the goal of assisting the mentee in his/her artistic growth and development.  In addition, the mentee will participate in monthly critique sessions with the same goal.  Other PYRO members may also bring work for critique to these sessions.  At the end of six months, the mentee will present work to the full membership for consideration and may be asked to join PYRO at their original application level .  Participation in this program doesn’t guarantee a slot as a PYRO member, but will provide a valuable learning experience for the mentee.
