What to expect - Application for Full, Associate, Emerging Artist, or PYRO mentorship (Details Below) is the same two-step process:
An initial application is submitted for review
Upon approval of the initial application, an invitation for an interview is extended to the applicant. (An informal 20 minute dialogue with PYRO members)
Members vote on your application following your interview and you will be notified of the results in a timely manner.
Required Materials:
JPEG images of 6-10 pieces of your work created in the past two years (Do not include more than 10 pieces of work, but you may include images of details.)
A separate document cataloging images by filename, title, size, & media.
A written statement indicating how your membership could be mutually beneficial to PYRO.

Word Documents must be text only
Minimum JPG image file size:
Largest dimension, (Height or width) must be at least 800 pixels.
Maximum JPG image file size:
Height or width must be no larger than 1600 pixels.

Digital transmission: Only materials submitted as e-mail attachments will be accepted.
PYRO Gallery Membership Levels
Full Membership Dues $120/ month dues (open to all)
Member may:
Have a solo, two or three person show every 18- 24months
Participate in all group shows and special events with the approval of the membership.
Artists outside the gallery, with the approval of the members, may be invited to participate in their show
Serve 1-2 shifts per month
Serve and/or chair a committee, vote, and hold an executive office
Associate Membership Dues $75 per month (open to all, limited to 3 members)
Member may :
Have a show with 2 or more members every 24 months
Participate in all special events and group shows.
Three shifts per month
*After 3 years an Associate member will move to Full membership
Serve and/or chair a committee May vote
Emerging Artist Membership Dues $50 (open to all; special consideration to those 30 and younger, limited to 3 members)
Member obligations:
Must participate in all special events and group shows.
One shift per month
*Emerging Members will move to the Associate membership group after 2 years
Must serve on one or more committees, but not chair a committee. May not vote
Each level of membership will have the opportunity to display work at all times.
